CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility – plays a key role in SPIE’s operations, and every employee of our company is committed to upholding the principles of performance, cooperation, responsibility and our CSR policy. This year, in line with the above, we visited the Óvoda, Általános Iskola, Integrated Special Educational Methodology Institution (EGYMI) in District III, on Szellő Street, where – following prior consultation and preparation – we spent a sunny afternoon working hard and carried out the following tasks, for which our company provided the raw materials and tools: Surface treatment and repainting of the wooden climbing tower in the institution’s courtyard, which serves as a recreational facility for the children.
Surface treatment of the two small wooden houses in the courtyard to preserve their condition. Repainting the courtyard benches. Surface treatment and repainting of the 55-metre-long ‘hunting fence’. Collection of green waste and leaves in the playground. Thanks to our staff’s efficient work, we even had time to paint the iron gate in the playground! It is difficult to put into words the atmosphere of the day, the enthusiasm with which our colleagues threw themselves into the work.
Thanks to their non-stop hard work, the school playground had a fresh new look by early afternoon. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the management of the Szellő Street Nursery and Primary School for allowing us to be there. See you again soon!
